That means Mayweather's reach is 5" longer.

It means he has a longer reach, thus advantageous at family BBQ's when you need someone to reach for the ****in ketchup.

Mosley has a 74 inch reach. Did it do anything? What matters is the skill used to utilize your strengths and limitations. Theres a reason why Cotto has a ridiculously great body attack and amazing inside game with his short compact punches. His stocky arms allow him to do it. You never saw ****** armed James Toney punching like Mike Tyson did you? His ass could shoulder roll a punch come back swinging with his long arms and tagging people. But you have to have the skill to do that, Mayweather does. But Cotto also has the skill to execute the physical advantages that mold his boxing style. Its all about STYLES. Period.

Timing is everything, 5" reach advantage doesn't mean **** if Floyd comes in there rusty in 2 years, and Cotto is a seasoned elite. Floyd gets his ass smashed if this happens after a long lay off

Uncle Roger: "Hey Lil Floyd, pass the Ketchup!"

Floyd: "**** that....ay yo Leonard, come grab Uncle Rog that ketchup!....ya fat lazy n*gg*"

Ellerbe: "Come on Floyd, you got those long arms, can't you just reach over and grab it please"

Floyd: "Can you believe this fat mutha? Alright...I'll get it, let me put my drink down..."

Floyd then grabs the ketchup and squirts it in Ellerbes face, to the roar of laughter from 37 Mayweathers!

You guys are clowns ... all seriousness what does this mean?

Floyd has a longer reach ... he's always been able to keep fighters with a shorter reach than him at bay and at the end of his punches.

Mosley isn't the same kinda puncher that Mayweather is and wasn't able to use his reach to his advantage. He elected to bang with Mayweather instead of using his natural attributes to his advantage.

Mosley isn't a boxer either - he didn't use a jab against Cotto and stuck to using the right hand over the top and the left hook to the head and the body.

Floyd would use his jab more (which he did against DLH and against Hatton) ... he would use the ring more to his advantage ... he would keep Cotto at the end of his punches ...

Floyd retired. Get off his nuts. He obviously was too scared to fight Cotto.

You act like its that simple? Step in a ring and fight a shorter fighter that throws more compact punches than you do. Come back here and tell me if it means anything then. Only thing that matters is a fighters ability to enforce his style. ALL styles have strengths and weaknesses!
