I'm not sure we can classify him coming over as 'dead at the weight' because he's come over and has missed the mark, but he's not tried to go down further. He put on another pound.

I don't think there's any advantage with that. I expect Rios to still win.

    Fight is 100% on!!!

John Murray gets a further $20,000 AND can still win the title.

    Rios, he a G, but a fat G!

After an hour, he didn't budge an ounce. He is dead at the weight.

    Come on Murray!!!!!

I think it's more likely that Rios knows he can't make the weight and hasn't tried extreme measures getting down (and hence weakening) knowing that the fight will be forced through due to economic considerations.

It's very wise for the Gallagher / Murray camp to place a limit on Rios weight on fight day.

Does anyone know how much Rios weighed on fight night for the Acosta/Antillion fights?

Yep, if you run and run and sweat and sweat and shift no water weight at all, you are DOA at the weight. If Murray can survive Rios' early assault he can make this interesting.

That would trounce Mitchell's comeback! :good
