Why dont you show him leaving the post fight and WHINING like a diva when he loses ... that's how you carry yourself in the sport of boxing? It takes no character to be a sportsman when you win. It's when you lose. Let's not forget how he talks about himself as "Miguel Cotto, you know ..."

    Cotto is a HORRIBLE EXAMPLE!

I don't need a hero nor do I need a public figure to vent my frustrations on, I've quietly done more than you could ever aspire to and don't feel the need for anyone's approval. But just so you know, I've put my life on the line so that you can enjoy the freedom of being the impressive keyboard warrior that you are.

You'd have to be your own boss and hero. It would be impossible for you to shine if there were any competition around you.

Martinez took the fight, his problem if he wasn't ready. I wonder what you would say iof it had been Floyd who took the fight. Maybe then Martinez would have been 100% healthy.

How do you know Cotto doesn't want to fight GGG? Did he tell you himself? Maybe you're a mind reader as well as your own hero and boss.

As stated previously, when you have accomplished something with your life, you will understand what it's like to feel entitled and deserving of certain things because you will have earned them. Until then keep spewing hate. I promise I'll sleep like a baby and not worry about you.

This I cannot argue. The worst I have ever seen him act. There was no excuse for that.

thanks. I was always confused why I couldn't embed.

He's a 1st ballot HOF'er regardless which is great. Can't ask for much more and truthfully who knows. If theres any truth to the pacquiao cheating stuff then he would ahve been beat by 2 cheats which for me would put cotto ahead of pac.

who cares if he didn't unify the titles. There's plenty of respected boxers who never unified. I don't need to see a unification to give a guy props for being a great fighter.

and cotto was a bad dude. He was an olympian, beat shane fair & square (CLOSE but he got the nod) and faced everyone for the most part. Your being real picky here.

:-( Spewing hate? You're the one with the personal attacks on a boxing website. Entitled? You sound like a spoon-fed politician. Or maybe someone living off the state waiting for their check.

Light middleweight Cotto was thought to be past it and shot and was cherrypicked by Sergio Martinez for a big payday. The overwhelming majority on here predicted the highly overrated Sergio would toy with Cotto and knock him out. After Cotto whooped his ass in one round and took his crown, the Sergio fanboys on this site have been on suicide watch, crying that Sergio was a paraplegic who should not have been allowed to fight, instead of admitting that their man was wildly overrated and Cotto would have been the better fighter whenever they fought.

All credit to Cotto for rejuvenating his career, taking the lineal middleweight crown against all odds, and doing it in spectacular fashion. Next, when he outboxes Canelo, it will be interesting to see what excuses the Sergio fanboys on this site make up to deny him any credit.

I'm a big fan of Miguel but I don't think it's right to be criticising other fighters like Khan and Thurman for calling out the no.1 guy, there's nothing wrong with that imo.

    Absolute BS
Now I'm calling you out Show me one iota of proof that Tony Margarito ever cheated against Cotto or anyone else. Cotto took a knee in surrender to Margarito He QUIT!!!!!!!!!! Margarito LEGITIMATELY beat the living **** out of him. He only latched on to the loaded gloves bull**** as an excuse. Shows what a coward he was he waited until Margarito got a seriously damaged eye against Paquaio before he dare take a rematch against Margarito. Cotto fought a basically one eyed Margarito for 8 rounds yet STILL!! could not beat him. Cotto started to wilt again & Tony was coming on when the crooked NY doc stepped in & saved Cotto the embarrassment of quitting AGAIN!!!
All Coitto does is :| whine:|

A 100% Martinez would have beaten the tar out of Cotto. Cotto likes beating on cripples. He struggled to beat a one legged Yuri Foreman. He had to have a crooked Doc get him the "win" over a one eyed Margarito. Martinez could hardly walk.
When things are in his favor Cotto looks good when things go wrong he surrenders & QUITS!!!!
