Could Cotto take the number of punches Clottey took from Margarito in the 2nd half of their fight without backing up?

Has Clottey ever taken a knee to avoid punishment?

They both beat Judah who is now a B level fighter with A level abilities for about 6 rounds. Cotto got stunned several times, got cut and bruised and stopped Judah in the 11th after landing (unintentional) low blows. Clottey was unmarked and was on his way to stop Judah in the 9th (the cut was caused by a punch).

 

Also his corner threw I'm the towel, he never said no mas....

Judah won about 1 round against Cotto and got brutally stopped

Clottey was only up by 2rounds untill the fight got stopped and went to the cards

 

Cotto has the better footwork, im just saying Clotteys defense will keep him in this fight and the uppercut could be the biggest key to this fight

 

Yet Cotto took more punishment.

cotto will outclass clottey it will start slow but cotto will pick it up. clottey is not to impressive beside carrying a lot of weight and able to take a punch, he doesnt punch when the opposition is punching just put's up his high guard and his work rate is not quite enough. i wont be suprise if it's a clean sweep.
