    Dont forget he was banned for over 1 1/2 years after the Mosely debacle then He got his eye permanently damaged by Pacquaio. Ask Pac how hard Margarito hit him

    One thing I will admit is that if Margarito had ginger hair and freckles or a owned a fledgling rap studio he would have been counseled and given a slap on the wrist...the whole thing would have been memory holed and blamed on a Chinese factory worked accidently manufacturing the wrapping material with to much hardener.

    He was also smokily for a lot at sugar Shane and he wasn’t smiling at the end of the fight. Those are just tactics to deceive an opponent

    cotto doesn't deserve to be held in higher regard.
    he fought all comers, picked up some belts, played second fiddle to some pretty fair country fighters in his time...but once he got Martinez's coveted belt he played the same game as the big boys with that belt.

    good fighter (fans love warriors), but second tier in an era with pacman and Floyd.

    I know Tony, despite his eye being blind he was still there Cotto couldnt beat a one eyed from the second round thanks to Cotto's thumbing,Margrito. Tony was set for a repeat of fight 1 & Cotto was done for woulda been DeJaVu the doc saw that & stopped the fight to save Cotto not Tony's eye.
    Tony has never & would never QUIT like cowardly Cotto
