Hatton was the only fighter in something like 5 years that he couldnt just sit on his heels and counterpunch to a victory. Mayweather had to be on his toes at all times during that fight. Cotto wont apply near the amount of pressure that Hatton did. Nor is he has fast. People dont realize it but Cotto isnt as fast as Hatton is punch was. He's more of a slugger needing to build up power for his punches. I see a rather easy fight for mayweather, boring fight for everyone else.

Cortes also hurt Trinidad in round 2 of their fight. He dropped him once, not twice, as people say. The KD came at the end of the round, which helped Trinidad.

You may just want to ignore G-Rap. He's another one of the crazy, biased floyd fans right along side of Fitz and Bigtime.

Never said walk through. Counter punch him into never wanting to fight another slick puncher again? Yes.

Do you think Floyd would finish Cotto inside of 12 rounds?

The fact that Cotto has weathered every storm he's found himself in can only be a good thing. He knows what happens when he gets hurt and wont be surprised when it happens again and he knows how to respond to being hurt. Combined with a much more solid chin at 147 and you have a fighter who is going to be very hard to stop.

Exactly.. Now what if Mayweather gets hurt against Cotto? Will he know what to do and be able to react quickly or will Cotto just swarm him? So many questions that need to be answered..:think

Quite. Floyd getting marginally stunned for a moment against Corley, busting his hand or touching canvas off balance against Judah is not the same. Floyd's defence is so good there is no telling what's going to happen when he really does get punched. Its bound to be a shock to the system. Personally I think that because he's been so composed and so mentally assured in so many fights, if he ever does get into trouble, he'll be able to weather it.

That said, Floyd has stated he will never be in a FOTY because he's never going to be in a Castillo/Corrales kind of situation. If he does start getting busted up who knows what he'll do.

IF you ever listen to Cotto you should know he has his feet on the ground. Unlike Floyd, who thinks he is God.
Regarding to Tito losing to Hopkins, I think we all agree neither Tito or DLH has nothing to do up there with the big guys. Hopkins was simply too big. But someone keeps telling Tito he is doing good up there. HE is going to get hurt. Unfortunately

One thing is for sure. Floyd trains like no other boxer. The man is gym addicted. Wich is great. Do you remember the 24/7 series?? DO you remember the therapy Floyd was getting on his left shoulder??? He loves to block punches with that shoulder. Cotto already made a boxer quit by hitting him on the shoulder. I think that fight will go either to Cotto by TKO, or Floyd by desicion
