Man, are you Filipino-American? Your mother land is a beautiful place. I think I have seen majority of the Philippines when I was there in the early 90's and 2004. My plan is to retire in the Philippines because of how I love that country, and my fiancee is from Davao. The Filipino people are wonderful people even the fvcking criminals are nice, but you just have to watch your back,. I can also get by as a Pinoy because of my redish tan skin, but I'm a Native American, Keres clan of the pueblo people, and some people call me Pinoy, Chicano, Rican, Nicoyas, even dominican etc. etc. You name it and I heard it before. I can get by just about anywhere in the world except for being a white man or a black guy, LOL. I can blend in the environment perfectly fine, and that's one of the reason why I'm so good at what I do. However, don't get me wrong I love my homeland, US of A, but I can do more in the Philippines by helping out the people over there when I finally retire from the military by teaching and helping them with medical supplies and school supplies in the poorest of the poor region in that country. I own some land in Cebu, Davao and Samal Island. My next plan is owning some land in Baguio and Tagaytay and perhaps buy a condo in Malati then I should be good. A nice beach resort in Samal or Cebu would be perfect.

Puerto Rico is beautiful as well, but Cotto should go to the Philippine Islands as the Pacman's guest. He will not be disappointed.

This guy definately has my vote for hater of the year!! First, nowhere in that article says anything even close to the headline he wrote. I remember reading that article around the 13 or 14 of December. Manny's birthday was the 17, just like Cotto said. If this guy knew anything about anything he would know the trip takes at least 24 hours. Do you think is worth for Cotto to spend that amount of money to go to Phillipines to sleep??? You dont travel to a place so far away unless you are planing to spend 14 to 21 days over there. Recovering from the jetlag only would take at least 24-36 hours. Unfortunately Miguel has a lot going on right now. Starting with that ***** from Venezuela who is trying to get money out of him. I mean, the same day the lawsuit is announced the ***** comes in public saying she will stop the lawsuit if Miguel pays her 500K. It doesn't get any more obvious than that.

Back to the subject, Miguel never say going to Phillipines wasn't worth it. He said going in such a rush wasn't worth it. In other words, its not worth to travel around the planet unless you have enough time to enjoy the place.

Yep, it's so true plus my fiancee is mistisa Pinay-Spanish-Ausie, who used to lived in Davao. I really appreciate the Filipino culture chap. I look more mistiso because of my Native American background, but the Pinoys are cool with me. I lived there for a total of three years and pick up a Cebuano dialect and Tagalog, so yeah I adopted the Pinoy culture, lol. I miss working with the Filipino SF guys. They are a bunch of cool people, very professional with some awesome jungle warfare skills, and I learned a lot when I was there.

True haters from both sides will do that and the ignorants too. People sometimes blow this type of **** out of proportion.

He probably would, and Puerto Rico has a lot to offer as well. As long as Cotto pays for everything, why not?

Worked in PR for several months. Loved it...though La Perla was not a place I'd like to spend a lot of time.
