Guilty as charged. Philly fans are like that. I can't defend all of them. I've always been behind McNabb and Reid. These fans are fickle though. They are actually complaining about the Phillies getting Roy Halladay.

People can indentify my as whatever they want. It's a whole nother matter actually backing it up. Calling me a nuthugger when I correctly identify a rumor as bogus, is not akin to me being a nuthugger. But hey, everyone has their own opinion.

Lemme guess that the effects of losing the 1 extra lb took it's toll on Cotto right around the second round when Pac began to take over the fight? Does that about sum it up for you?

To be honest, I don't give a **** who Pac invites to his party. I was half joking. People took it serious though and started with all the personal attacks. It's all good though.

Beenie, I clearly stated that Pac wins regardless. However, that doesn't change that Cotto had to strain to make weight. I wouldn't think the 1 lb. would be a problem, but apparently it was. There is a guy at the weigh in who said he looked dried out.

Even a blind dog gets a bone sometimes -- if you called bull**** on every Floyd rumour that gets posted, you're bound to be right on a few of them.

Does the Roy Halladay deal make the Phillies any better than last year?.....I think the Halladay deal makes them marginally better better but nothing much when you have to give up Cliff Lee. Whats your thoughts on the trade?

And here we see BigReg's standard duck/retreat move "Oh, I wasn't serious, I didn't mean it, it was just a joke"

He's drained only in your eyes and whoever this "author" is. Name one respectable person in the boxing business that will go with your weight drain nonsense. There is no one. After the weight in people were claiming Pac was a dead man cause they've never seen Cotto look so fit and ready for a fight.

If I were you I'd quit with the Cotto was drained for Pac fight. Your losing every shred of credit you have by saying that.

  11. Yea really: i can think of about 9 million other things to do, than hang out with a bunch of ghetto hood rats, gangsta's with thier 10lb chains hanging off their necks, rapping ebonics, and trying to impress people by throwing money around:nut, and hanging around hoochie mama's with asses as wide as a football field:barf...
    NO thanks i'll pass...

I get most of them right because I'm pretty good at identifying bull****. Him wanting the fight over 147 was painfuly obvious bull****. Him wanting to fight Matthew Hatton is more obvious bull****. Him wanting 10 oz. gloves is believable. Who I root for doesn't change my ability to objectively assess a situation.

So you choose to ignore everything else about the fight including Cotto's performance in the first 2 rounds and the fact that he was still bouncing on his toes in round 10, and focus solely on the fact that some guy who claims he was at the weigh in opined that Cotto 'looked drained' and because said guy acknowledges there were already rumours floating aorund about it, it somehow makes his claim more credible

I really don't care what you believe. You spend your time on a boxing forum yet you talk very little about the sport.

I thought Cotto fought well in the first round. His punches looked accurate, strong, and powerful and they seemed to have an effect on Pac. It wasn't until the second when Pac began to bait him into the exchanges when Cotto was systematically broken down. I saw no evidence in how Cotto fought to suggest that he was drained. What I did see was Cotto outsmarted and outclassed by a superior fighter who would have defeated him under any circumstances.
