Miguel Cotto - "Going to the Philippines is not worth my time" (Manny's B-day)

Calling it like I see it. There was a whole thread showing pictures of Cotto a day before the weigh in and many people said he looked drained. There is no ulterior motive or anything like that. I'm simply stating the guy struggled to make weight. I made a half joking remark about how Pac dissrespected Cotto by draining him. I got called an idiot for saying he was drained and chose to defend myself. That happens in the sport, fighters sometimes struggle to make weight. Hell, Pacquaio clearly looked drained when he fought Marquez the second time. Pac also remarked that he wasn't going to starve himself to make 135 after he beat Diaz. Struggling to make weight is not always a reason for performing poorly. I don't know why I'm getting attacked over this.

 

Pac should go to PR then. Sounds like a good event.

It's really rather simple, Pac fans, like me, are quick to point out that Pac's defeat of Cotto is a more impressive accomplishment than anything Mayweather has ever accomplished in life.

And then of course the debate inevitably spills over into the ongoing negotiation arguments of who's deserving of what and why talks have stalled etc.
