i understand all that **** but im saying like...

your ignoring the fact that cotto has defense & pacman will have to get close to him... i mean even hatton got a chance to clinch with pacman ... what happens then?

Then cotto should put the belt on line.... If he really thinks he will not lose. That is IF and if he have the balls.
pac is the smaller guy here and pac shows balls on going up to fight cotto.

he looked that way against 2 huge welters with granite chins who just kept coming. no way pac will give the pressure that those 2 guys were able to against cotto!

Nah, their reach is about the same. Pacquiao only has to come in as much as Cotto. Whoever gets their feet in the correct place will get off first, and to me that is Pacquiao.

Clinch...so what? Cotto hates clinching, even if he's the stronger man. Pacquiao is deceptively strong so I don't see it as a huge part of the fight. I don't see much clinching.

I am a fan of both fighters and really didn't want this fight to happen, but.... I'd have to give Miguel this one. I've been watching pacquiao's fights a lot lately and have noticed that he tends to get wild. Which Miguel is more technical, unless pacquiao can keep his hands up instead of leaning in, I see Cotto taking this one.

Don't think so, this is Manny Pacquiao we're talking about, can't imagine him putting in any less time than he has for any other major fight.

I agree I think Cotto's style is taylor made for Pacquiao in some ways. Hes gonna make Cotto go backwards and Cotto cant fight going back, but Cotto should win he has the size, power, and heart but I think Pacquiao has the speed and skill to win it and i think he can make Cotto go back using flurries

Its in Cotto's best interest to go back anyways. Coming forwards at Pacquiao is dumb as ****.

Don't worry about Cotto backing up. He's going down like a sack of potatoes with a perfectly placed shot.:yep

That's preposterous. Pac has a workrate, Clottey doesn't have great power. Clottey slows down in all of his fights and gives it up. Could Clottey outbox Pacquiao for stretches of a fight and make him look bad? Sure, but unless he suddenly and mysteriously improves his conditioning, there's no way he beats Manny Pacquiao to a decision. He gives away too many rounds for that to happen. Could he score a knockout? Maybe, but Cotto's a stronger puncher than Clottey.
