According to El Nuevo Dia, Cotto will be meeting with Top Rank in New York to discuss his next move and at the Lopez-Lueavano fight to support JuanMa. The meeting was originally supposed to take place earlier in the year, but was postponed after the death of Miguel Cotto Sr. They say Yuri Foreman is a possible opponent, but nothing is official since Bob has been tied down with Pacquiao-Clottey and his new boxing series on FSN. Whoever he fights, it will take place as usual on the eve of the Puerto Rican Day Parade, June 12th.

It's interesting to me, because I had a feeling that Cotto wouldn't return until later this year after the death of his father.

Anyway, they also mentioned a Pacquiao-Clottey press conference will take place next week in NYC taking advantage of the journalists already scheduled to be there to cover next Saturday's card.

They look like twins. Yeah, I wish Cotto would take more time off, personally.

i think this is miguels way to cope with the turbulence in his life at this moment, book a fight and train to keep his mind off it.

This, Cotto is a boxer.. he never did anything else. It's what he knows and loves, so that's whats going to keep him grounded during this hard period in his life.

Miguel needs some serious adjustments to his game if he is gonna continue to compete at such a high level. He is not the force he was down at 140lbs, he hasn't "hurt" or imposed himself on anybody since Judah. Mosley, Margo, Clottey and Pac all walked through his attack and he was left trying to box for a decision instead of going after and trying to finish them. He needs to increase his stamina and I mean this should be his #1 goal. Then he needs to learn how to hold and fight on the inside.

Maybe Cotto should fight Hatton, this seems like the most logical choice for both guys at this stage.

Hatton will end up getting killed if he's going to fight top tier fighters.
Cotto will end up hurting Hatton.

Los Boricuas together......I am feeling that!

Cotto is a great influence for Juanma in my oppinion! I like this a lot! He can probably pick up some tips in terms is discipline and focus from Cotto.

    Que Viva Puertorro!
