I am in no way a Williams supporter and more of a Cotto fan of the two but you are dreaming if you think Cotto would be able to take Williams at this point.

I doubt Cotto beats Foreman. Cotto gets crushed by Williams. Cotto is not Cintron or Williams. He's a much different fighter than those two. He does not match up well with Williams.

cotto would be able to beat williams. but it will never happen so no point in dwelling on it. williams hasnt fought at 147 in 2 years.

Cotto should beat Foreman. Yuri has some slick skills but Cotto is on another level. Even a faded miguel should win a clear decision maybe even late stoppage

Cotto is fighting at 154 now, so never say never.

Paul Williams would overwhelm Cotto much like Margo did (sans the plaster) Bad matchup for Cotto.

Cottoe is so overrated it ain't even funny no 'mo. He's beaten nothing but faded champs and inexperienced fringe contenders barely out of the Olympics. Most of his wins were at a weight class that he was too big for. Even after all of these things, people still had the audacity to state that Cottoe could beat Money.
Listen. I am being so honest when I say that Miguel Cotto is absolutely nothing without Money. All he was ever built into was another overrated hype job; it is an endless cycle. The acclaim basically comes from two wins throughout his 9 year career.

Mosley and Zab Judah. One in which he was given a hometown gift decision and in the other he had to resort to low blow dirty tactics to win.

    * It is so undeniably hilarious that Money almost gets no credit for beating Zab, but Cottoe does, even with the year lay-off and previous 2 losses. It bewilders the mind. It's sickening!

In closing, Cottoe's status among some of his deranged fans is unjustified. Moving up from 140 before winning a lineal title is already a bad sign and he still hasn't won one, yet Mayweather did in his 18th fight. Once Money decides to leave the sport then it is up to him to fight for lineal supremacy, but his cry baby fans won't allow it. Message to to Cottoe: work like Money May did and tell your fans to stop bitching. Maybe someday you'll be as great as Floyd "Money" Mayweather Jr.
BTW, Paul Williams would kill Cottoe.
