Did you watch the first episode of 24/7, Cotto looks like he is oozing confidence and believes in himself again for real. Will it be enough? I'm not sure but I feel that Miguel genuinely believes in what he is saying. He ain't the type of fighter to bull**** :bbb

If Pedro Diaz was not his trainer, then I wouldn't take Cotto's assertion seriously. However, after watching Cotto fighting Margarito in the last fight, I thought he was in the best condition ever - and I'm convinced this was due to Diaz's efforts.

I was very impressed with Diaz's training in preparation for the Margarito fight. And...I figure since he coached the Cuban Boxing Team, he must be excellent (otherwise Fidel would have had him executed). Just kidding.

Youre insane or a floyd hugger if you think he stops cotto.

Floyd couldnt leave A SINGLE MARK ON DLH's FACE when they fought (floyds eye was swollen shut at the end), couldnt knock down and barely marked the zombie of shane mosley who stood in front of him all night, couldnt knock out bloated marquez after he had him hurt, and ortiz didnt seem slightly phased or deterred by any of floyds right hands that landed.

but youre telling me he's going to knock out a fighter who is bigger, quicker, more skilled, and has more power than any of those guys????

floyd will outpoint him, but he wont come close to hurting him let alone knock him out. itll be a BORING fight unless cotto sells out and comes forward guns blazing....and when has he ever done that.

Fact. Floyd fought DLH with 10oz HEAVYWEIGHT gloves. Physicis says the smaller gloves (8oz) will do more damage.

Fact: Nobody has stopped Marquez or Mosley.

Fact: Ortiz was rocked early in the 4th round by uppercut/left and right hook combos from Floyd. Oh yeah Ortiz was also knocked out by the end of that round if you didnt notice.

Fact: Cotto is not more skilled than Mosley and Marquez. And is much more prone to damage and is more vulnerable than those two.

Fact: you will become a ***** after Floyd stops and completely outclasses Cotto. :deal

Like one dude said, fighters ooze with confidence before big fight all the time, what else would you expect, dig up the pre fight interviews of Cotto vs Pacquiao, Miguel was just as confident before that fight ass well as the first Margo fight that's just his personality, unfortunately for Miguel is confidence doesn't win fights, skills win fights and Cotto is inferior to Mayweather in every skill department...

Not only physically is he at a disadvantage (height & reach) he is slower, has inconsistent defense, average (at best) footwork, and he also doesn't have one punch KO power, although he is a good puncher, is he fast enough & doesn't he hit hard enough to land a KO blow on Mayweather, I doubt it...

Fight will go as such, Floyd will come out standing his ground, picking Cotto off with straight right hands, walking him into check hooks, lead hooks and bust him up, Cotto is predictable, when he realizes the main reason Floyd is so hard to hit (because he throws no more than two punches and back on D) Cotto will get desperate and get hurt...

I give Cotto absolutely no chance to win this fight, he just isn't as good, as conditioned or dedicated as money May...

Jeez...whoever thought a sucker punch would elevate Floyd to the status of "Destroyer". In fact, Floyd needed two sucker punches to do the job - LOL!
