After Cotto learned about the wraps, he felt that Margarito didm't deserve to fight again and didn't deserve to have another pay day. Eventually I'm sure he decided he needed to beat him in the ring for his own closure.

But no Cotto hasn't faced everybody. There are plenty of fighters Cotto hasn't faced. And his resume at 154 is weak compared to the amount of competition that has been there since he entered in 2010.

 

He's not a fraud, but he tends to get overrated and a pass on things.

This is a fighter who outweighed his opponents by 15-20 pounds at 140.
This is a fighter who won all his titles when they were vacant, and the one time he took it from a titlist, his opponent was one legged.
He's hailed as the Jr. MW King, yet his only fights there have been against Foreman, Mayorga and Margarito.
