Miguel Cotto is not a great fighter

Shame Pac ruined him.

 

Cotto is a top fighter and deserves all the praise he gets. Theres not many with a list of opponents as good as his.

 

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, voters are instructed that the only criteria are the fighter's achievements in the ring.

"Fame" isn't supposed to be a factor, and it's generally brought into the argument by people when they like a fighter but realise that his actual achievements are not overwhelming.

 

boy I would love to see Bradley fight him to see how true your statement is but that if it happens by next year cause he is getting older but yet again he is boxing with one in Dec.

 

yea but Cotto did beat this guys on their primes with the exception of Mosley but then again he was more creditable at that time than he was vs May but give credit to all boxers that steps into that ring weather your good or not it takes a lot of heart to do

 

He's a slightly more talented version of gatti except only 1/4th the heart (still a lot of heart)

 

this "warrior mentality" Cotto supposedly "have" would make Margarito a monster in the ring compared to that of Cotto. pulling the 2 best of this era down wont in any way help you on your point.

cotto is a bum when he fought pac, but he is aa atg when he fought floyd...lol

I agree. ATG, no. Great fighter, yes. You don't have to be an ATG to be a great fighter.

 

I haven't ever even seen a Cotto(e) fan or one of his stans call him an ATG.

 

I rate cotto alongside the likes of Castillo and Coralles.
