Hatton, DLH barely landed anything at all. Barrera landed some punches, but Pacquiao walked through them. Morales pretty much landed either a straight right or left jab and stopped Pacquiao in his tracks, but was never able to put combos together. Marquez pretty much landed one punch at a time with the occasional two punch combo thrown in there. But against Cotto we finally saw somebody hit Pacquiao in 2, 3, 4 punch combos repeatedly for about 4 rounds. We've never seen anybody else tee off on Pacquiao like that before. Cotto was ripping him to the body, landing uppercuts on Pac snapping his head back. Doing things to Pac that we had never previously seen. I thought Pacquiao was in trouble early in that fight. Cotto was the bigger, stronger, more powerful fighter. And if the fight that had continued in the same direction no way Pac would have finished the fight. Luckily for Pacquiao he caught Cotto flush on the neck/jaw area in the 4th round and Cotto subsequently went into survival mode for the rest of the fight.
He did land a left hook that buckled Pacquiao in that fight, but it was one punch and not followed up with anything. Marquez hit hard enough to gain Pacquiao's respect, but he never full on traded with Pacquiao in combination. Hatton tried and failed miserably. Barrera and Morales didn't even try to trade. And Marquez after the first round in the first fight went exclusively counter mode. Cotto actually stood toe to toe with Pacquiao. Squared shoulder for square shoulder. Mano a mano. And traded combinations for 4 rounds. Nobody else ever did that. Well at least Hatton tried to trade, he just got blasted out.
Go rewatch it. They went back and forth non stop. And Marquez landed quite a few combos. But yea, Cotto went toe to toe unlike anyone else. Well Hatton and Margarito tried. Actually, Margarito did quite well at times.
You must have forgot about a few guys called Erik Morales and Juan Manuel Marquez... Stick to watching boxing on youtube newb.
