Cotto did nullify pacs speed when he was using his jab n moving in the first round, he then started to try and walk pac down and 'go to war' like he said, and got dismantled.

This was an amazing fight. I loved the build up towards it and it delivered, unlike many fights which receive the same hype. One of my favourite nights as a boxing fan.

I second this. Rds 1-4 had me teetering on the edge of my seat but the excitement did taper off towards the end when it became more one-sided. 'twas a good fight.

No disrespect for fans who like tactics ala Hopkins but I really appreciated two fighters who came to fight - nary a clinch to be seen, if memory serves. (Truth be told, I think Cotto should've tried for the clinch more and leaned on Pac; but then again, easier said than done if even Hugman (Hatton) couldn't successfully complete a hold without being blasted in the face with combos)

Actually, Pac nullified Cotto's jab with the straight.

Still can't understand why people can even disregard this as a good win for Pac, the last good win of Pac to be honest.

    Um...that's what I said/implied:hey

Anyway, we're talking about a past fight...

I predict Manny will do a Sonic Boom/double punch on Clottey's head!

Pac win against margo was great considering the size difference and just how he dominated him. Any other WWs and LWs that night against that version of margo would have their hands full.

pac's fight against mosley was **** mainly bcoz of shane.

Except for Mosley who KO'd Margarito in 9 rounds 2 years prior.

Yep, Pacs counter punching was superb. But Cotto did nullify Pacs speed in the first round, when he was circling and boxing. In round 2 he starts trying to walk Pac down behind almost a high guard, and opts to block punhes with his gloves to land his own shots instead of moving and circling (he must have thought he could overpower pac?) and thats when he starts to get chopped down bit by bit.

Cotto looked good though, Pac is just another level. Very good win by Pac.... however its where we disagree, I actually think that given the circumstances, that the Margarito win was also good.
