    He was training for pac?
What was he doing? Practicing dodging on coming cars?
Accusing random people of cheating on tests with no proof?
Going to the park and feeding the ducks?

Mosley did look overtrained, but of course we will never know.

Both Floyd and Shane looked sluggish than their normal self - it must be the blood testing.

Honestly prob the truth behind Cotto coming out & saying Mosley over trained or whatever the "F" would be a sorta damage control, As to not take away from his win over Shane.
(Kinda like saying, he fought a well trained version as opposed to the shell Mayweather did)

Sounds like something Arum might think of right....?

Are you sure Mayweather was training for Pacquiao?...I don't think he was you know. I'm sure they were ready to begin training after the first press conference...or sometime around then.

I really don't understand peoples adoration for Margo after we found out he was cheating. Why should Cotto give him an opportunity at a big payday again? Remember that they were supposed to fight after the Jennings fight that is until Margo got caught cheating. If Cotto was scared as some of the dumbasses here claims he is he would have not asked for the rematch in the first place. Cotto is one of the guys that fights all comers and you really dont here his camp beefing about purses or getting concessions from other fighters.

If you look at the quote in the spanish newspaper is translates to "he looked worn for some reason, mayber overtraining or whatever."

So he was just stating what he saw and it's not like he gave a definitive answer on why he believed Shane looked lathargic he just said that could be a possibility.

Cotto may have a point, who knows.

What I do know is Shane looked crap and it wasn't all down to Mayeather.

Being stronger physically doesn't really make a professional fighter who's already in great shape punch harder. The only fight he used steroids was in the Oscar rematch and that was one of his worst perfomances. Another importan point is that Mosley had no idea what they had put in him. Although Margo claims he didn't have an idea either Miguel Cotto isn't buying that. He believes every figter knows what the trainer is doing to their hands which happens right in front of your face.

I'm not saying I agree with Cotto, I'm just saying what I understand he feels concerning the situations. But like you said you have your opinion concerned to as far as you know about the subject and the same can be said for Cotto. I don't really think it's hypocrisy.

yes it also crossed my mind that mosley might be overtrained for this. that's why i'm so confused that by only round 3 and 4, mosley was gasping for air already with just some medium-paced action (excet round2) from both sides. of course we can't also discount that it has something to do with shane's age and ring inactivity.

also, i can sympathize with cotto for not wanting margarito again. the guy was caught cheating and even if there was no proof that he also used it in the cotto fight, we cannot blame some people for thinking that he had used it before.

cotto didn't say mosley overtrained, he said he MIGHT have.

why is everyone allowed to have an opinion but not him?

This is the new excuse now, Mosley overtrained? Mosley is a gym rat. Guys like him can't overtrain. Mayweather is the same way. Mayweather was training 3 hrs. a day and did some hard sparring 2 days before the Mosley fight. Mosley was old, Mosley was inactive, Mosley was nervous, Mosley was not good enough. I can accept all of these. Mosley overtrained? I have a hard time believing that.

Not surprising he would think that given the circumstances. 'He believes' is the key phrase though. Everyone has an opinion.

never heard? so what do you think mosley was doing right before his berto fight was cancelled? it's not a confirmed reason why mosley gassed-out but it certainly is a valid point.
