Shane Mosely was not all that past his prime. Quit saying that. Infact his speed still looked very impressive and he had more experience which plays a huge factor. You can see now how it does. Look how he totally dismantled Marg.

I don't even like ODLH but all you need to know is that the Mosley who beat Oscar at 147 would've beat the **** out of Cotto & stopped him in the mid rds.

:patsch Mosley is no where near as fast as he was in 2000 or 01. Anyone who thinks that the Mosley Cotto beat is close to the one DLH fought at 147 is a Cotto nuthugger period.

He throws more combo's now than he was at the time when he fought Oscar. He's a much smarter fighter now too than he was at that time. And the mosley who fought Oscar in the second fight was even worse, because he was doing too much weightlifting at the time. He may not be as fast but he's still fast and his ring smarts make up for it, which makes him better in some ways because his legs aren't shot. Mosley looks more impressive now than he did at that time. Look at all the string of wins his put together. Only fighter he didn't beat was Cotto. He even made a fast collazo look slow at 36 and did it way more impressivly than Andre Berto.

Yeah you guys can keep underestimating Cotto all you want but the more he keeps winning, the more people are gonna start changing their minds. So far everyone has written him off since the Judah fight and he continues to keep proving people wrong.

:rofl Mosley was a far better fighter when he met Oscar at 147, the SSM that fought DLH would've stopped Collazo, I can't believe anyone would actually argue that SSM's old ass is better now than when he beat DLH at 147 :-(

He's the champ right now. So I don't know how anyone would try and argue he's old, when he's proven that ain't true. So you tell me.

judah?? the guy coming off two losses and a year lay off
since then we've had mosley in a fight some would contest mosley was unlucky not to get a draw AT THE LEAST
    gomez-enough said
margo who mosley took apart with ring intelligence and a good gameplan something the great cotto couldnt
jennings again the less said the better
and clottey who handed him his ass
not that impressive to be comparing to a prime oscar

He won all those fights legitimatly. Mosley got beat convincingly, quit making excuses. And marg was always a bum and had to cheat to beat Cotto and you know it too. Cotto would beat his ass even easier if they fight again. And he beat Clottey with one eye.

    Perspective:

in 20 years, with the proper distance for objectivity, will people honestly have to ask who was more skilled?

Oh I do. But you don't know how to score fights properly. If I thought he loss any those fights, I'd admit it. And he definetly beat Mosley more than 1 point, you need to go watch that fight again.
