From First Take today. He also gave an inside perspective into Mayweather's power and Pacquiao's speed advantage.
    Here's the full quote.

He's never picked between the two. He's always said "tough for both", so this is the first time he's really settled on a person. He's a respectable and honest guy, like Timothy Bradley, so I take this as his honest opinion. Interesting note on the aspect of Mayweather's power. Guerrero said something very similar a few days ago.

I wonder if Roach being his trainer and him rooting for Pac has anything to do with his opinion? lol Just sort of joking. Interesting to hear from Cotto.

the only opinions that can be taken serious are from people with no connections to either floyd or pac.

Yea, because him being a Wild Card fighter doesn't skew his perception on this fight whatsoever.

Might as well ask J'Leon Love for an objective ****ysis on the fight.

Not that i'm questioning his opinion but it's hard to judge a guy that works with manny now and take his opinion serious. He can hardly say floyd then go into camp with manny lol...

That's what I thought at first too; however, he's been asked a lot about The Fight recently and usually just sticks with "tough fight for both, close fight" and wouldn't give an answer. I can usually tell when someone's favoring a fighter due to bias or whatever, but he seems genuine here.

Surprised from Cotto I thought he would have picked Floyd ..One thing is certain Manny was able to take a flush shot from Cotto ,Can Floyd catch Manny the same way ?If he does ,does he weather it like Cotto's shot ?

I get where you guys are coming from, but idk.. everyone who knows Cotto says he an extremely honorable, honest man. Call it woman intuition or whatever, but, to me, he really seemed to be giving his honest opinion. I can totally understand yall's view point though.

Cotto probably hits harder than Marquez on the average too but just about anyone caught with a great shot will go down.
