You don't worry about a rain storm destroying the crops? A fire?

That's what a De La Hoya win over Cotto would do to the Mayweather-Cotto fight. Instead we would get Mayweather-DLH 2.

Paranoia and a worry of missing out on great fights. Being a boxing fan for too long will do that to you. We've already missed out on great potential matchups due to timing/politics/upsets, etc...I don't want to miss another one.

DLH is not a full time fighter anymore, Cotto would beat him more clearly than he beat Shane. . . I can see DLH using hiw wife as an excuse to not fight Cotto.

Oscar dosen't want to fight Floyd again, but he knows everybody wants to see PBF-Cotto, so he wants to play spoiler. I sense that because he couldn't beat Floyd in the ring, he wants to stop him from getting anymore of those big paydays. He is stepping on Floyd's toes and fighting Cotto before Floyd can and by beating him, that'll leave Floyd without a big name opponent. Just my opinion.

You're right Puerto Ricans don't abandon their fighters. I for one am glad about this. I won a pretty good amount of money when B-Hop beat down Trinidad. When Tito fought Winky, I thought for sure Puerto Ricans would jump off the bandwagon and realize that he wasn't going to beat Winky. To my surprise, many of them were talking as though he would walk right through Winky. I was more than happy to take advantage of their loyalty; on my way to another good payday.

The only people who want Mayweather - DLh II are the ***goty Floyd nuthuggers and Floyd and DLH themselves. It's nothing but a money fight with no real meaning.

I'm not race baiting. All I said is that, from my experience, Puerto Ricans have shown to be loyal when it comes to their fighters.

Lmao. Gotta love loyalty. I really want Floyd to fight Cotto, cuz maybe a few Floyd haters would finally top themselves for being so stupid and picking against the greatest of our generation.

I hope to God this fight happens. I have plenty of Puerto Rican friends who would be more than willing to bet on Cotto, and I would be more than willing to take their money.

Come one man, if Tito would've beat Hopkins, I would've never heard the end of it. I'm not trying to offend anyone. Bragging rights are a part of sports.
