Nope you are right. Puerto Ricans tend to stick by Puerto Ricans. Mexicans tend to stick by Mexicans. Latino pride. Nothing wrong with it, unless it makes you blind to whos better ala Floyd vs Cotto. Puerto ricans not a race anyways, cotto is probably an mix of races.

I dont think ur a racist. Its just a turn off when race gets brought into building up a fight or talking about past fights etc.

I think many casual fans are turned off by it and drawn to it in a twisted kinda way.

Ill root for Mexican boxers, thats one thing. I was at a fight once, Cowboy Coker was fighting a black dude in SA and this chick kept yelling "brand that niigggerr Cowboy" - made me sick, so I turned around and told the group they cant say that, the dudes she was with made her stop.

 

I wouldn't mind watching DLH vs Cotto. A win over DLH would definitely make Mayweather want to fight Cotto.
