TMT will gain tons of credibility if Cotto(e) signs on

    ****ing hell. :rofl

None of you have the slightest clue about 'The Money Team'. They have made absolutely no moves regarding this. We've seen 50 sign a bunch of people, supposedly, and without putting on a show, "they are making waves" :rofl:patsch

They haven't even got a damn logo or had a press conference. JEEZ. And really, as if Miguel Cotto would sign to this great big promotional team :rofl.

I think Cotto collaborating with them with his own promotional company but remaining a free agent is more likely.

The reason TPR and GBP behave the way they do is LACK OF COMPETITION....another promotional company will force them to do better

If they made Cotto a partner, it would go a long way in bringing a lot of Latino fighters over to TMT I think. Hopefully TMT can revitalize the sport in the US.

I thaught gb wants to make the big fights but arum is in the way. so who's fault is it?

money team will surely make all the big fights, since one of the bosses of mt floyd himself is very easy going in making the biggest fights possible :patsch

The reason Top rank acts like that is because Bob Arum is a greedy **** who cares only about his pockets at anyones or anything expense... His time is up and he is cashing out, its that simple.

In an attempt to get fights made DLH apologized to Arum for their differences and Arum responded with a **** you, this despite the fact that Arum made a ****ing killing off DLH when Oscar was fighting under him.

DLH tried, but Arum wanted none of it.

Its almost safe to say Arum hates Floyd more than he hates Oscar.

Arum will continue promote in-house fights, or fights where his comapny takes the Lion's share... He won't go 50/50 with 50's company...hell no he won't.

so, the very best would be a monopol boxing promotion who has all the big fighters under 1 banner and let's them all fight. same reason why UFC is so big. first ufc was ****, than they got all the big pride stars like rampage, anderson silve, wanderlei etc., the wec fighters and now strikeforce.

I idea is appealing to me. no more lifelong proccedings. immidiate reactions to what the fans want. the fans are sick of broner fighting b-level opponents, 1 week later a sign contract against the japanese KO kid, forgot his name  golden boy, don king, top rank and others combined to a mega promotion that makes all the boxing dream fights come true :admin

They would have to offer Cotto a partnership deal to sign him.
Otherwise he don't need them. Miguel can co-promote with any of the big dogs.

No matter how you want to put it, Cotto is the 3rd biggest draw currently. So its make no sense trying to clown any promotion, trying to sign him.

No, Cotto has his own promotion company, works to partially promote himself, is working to become a promoter himself, and is getting ready to retire. He was happy to leave top rank to only join another promotion company?

Nah, Cotto promotes himself at this point. . . He'll do business with Top Rank, Golden Boy, or TMT. . .

He's good terms with everybody. . And at this point in his career, he doesn't need the money backing of a promotional team.
