Floyd gets rcedit for beating Cotto. . . But to be fair, he doesn't get as much credit as Pacquiao, who beat Cotto closer to his natural weight, and beat him first. . . ANd in a lot more dominating fashion, stopping him after pummeling, thumping, and crunching him.

While Cotto was still pretty much physically primed against Floyd, to say that Pac didn't steal a little bit of his heart, and soul, and leave some of it in the ring that night would be foolish. . .

Just like Floyd with Hatton. . .

Cotto wasn't the same after the Margarito beat down.
Then he seemed to struggle against Clottey, likely because of trying to make weight.
Then Pacquiao made him come at 145. And Cotto did not have a real trainer, and his camp was a complete mess as was his life, and to add a chery on top he knew Arum was ****ing him and was unhappy at Top Rank.

All the **** took a big toll on Cotto.

When Mayweather fought him, he was a new man, a man with confidence, with a real training camp, and at a much more comfortable weight.

    There ya go!

    *****-Logic at it's finest

    let me enumerate:

Pac beat Cotto because he has no real trainer
Pac made Cotto went down 145lbs.
    Unhappy at TR etc etc

    All Pac's fault :rofl

but when Pac had cramps during JMM 3

*****s: "Pac has too many excuses!" :rofl

So if TMT starts signing up all the top fighters,

Does this mean that these fighters, if in the same weight class, won't face each other?

How does that work, if a promotion company gets really big?

Oh, I definitely agree the Margarito loss took something from Cotto. . But he never got that back - not against Manny, nor Floyd. . . Just like hwen Manny beat him down (just as bad as Margarito did), he lost a little part of himself he'll never get back. . . But he had more left against Manny, tahn he did against Floyd.

The weight was not an issue for Cotto at all - even he says this himself. After the fight, and before the fight.

Against CLottey, hell, he weighed in at 146 pounds? It seems like if that one pound was so precious to Cotto, and was draining himself that bad, he would have came in at every bit of 147? The reason he struggled against Clottey, is because CLottey is a DAMN GOOD boxer/puncher, with an air-tight guard, and a deadly accurate straight right hand. . . People forget aside from Pacquiao, Clottey has NEVER had anything close to a "one-sided loss."

Cotto had no problems making 145 pounds. I mean, if you look at his body frame, it's basicalyl the same as Pacquiao. And he's a very short 5'7''.

Dumbest thing I've ever heard. . Why would he want to sign with them, and give them a percentage of his purse, when he can just negotiate with them as his own promotional entity? But let's pray we don't get a Cotto/Floyd rematch this December. . . .

Cotto is at the point in his career where he can promote himself, and work with other companies. . . He has plenty of capital to put up, he has a name value where people know him, and will ALWAYS be in demand. . .

If he wants to fight Canelo next, he can negotiate as his own promotional entity with Golden Boy. . . If he wants the Pacquiao rematch, he's still on good terms with Top Rank, and can negotiate for himself with Top Rank against Pacquiao.

Who else does TMT have that would be an opponent for Cotto at this point anyway? Berto, I guess. . But he was ON THAT ****. . . ANd he's gotta handle that first. . . But even then, like I said, Cotto wold just negotiate with them as his own man for the fight.

LOL signing with TMT would be the worst move Cotto could make from a financial standpoint. . .

I'm not a TMT hater; in fact, I WELCOME them ,and think they'll be good for boxing. . . BUT LOL, Cotto would be a fool if he signed with them.

    Cotto is his own man
with his own promo company. He is free to negotiate with anyone he chooses and keep ALL the money for himself. He realises his worth and will not sign with TMT or anyone else, for that ,matter.

Why would Cotto join TMT when he can promote himself.

His name sells itself. Signing with TMT would be extra $$$ out of his pocket.
