I would have to see Cotto's skin tested a little more than Yuri can test it. Angulo is the 154-pound Margarito.

If cotto cant secure a superfight with mayweather or pac, this is the fight id have him take at this point... its a big test, but one i feel he needs. Im not keen on a martinez or williams fight at this point, and that really only leaves a few names left for him. If he could beat Angulo, it would go a long way to raising his stock even more given that Angulo is wrong for him in a lot of ways. That being said as a Cotto fan its a scary fight. But lets be real, with the names that surround 147 and 154 as of now (Williams, Martinez, Kirkland, Angulo, Pac, Mayweather) they are all scary in their own way.... so unless hes going to retire hes got to fight one of them considering he always goes after the best, and out of the group, if he couldnt get mayweather or pac again, id like to see him take on angulo i suppose.
I think Margo is actually a much better fighter than Angulo in a p4p sense, but there are similarities in style, and Angulo is a bigger, stronger, harder puncher than Margo so all that makes for a very interesting fight. Still, if I were managing Cotto I would never take such a huge risk knowing that there are many more fighters out there that Cotto could face and make more money fighting.
