    My my my

What can you say about that !!!!!!!!! That was an amazing display by Manny. And tremendous courage by Cotto. He kissed his dad in the corner after the 8th (I think) and told him 'no I'm carrying on' and then refused to be pulled out at every interval after that :-( What a guy

How lucky are we to have TWO fighters of such stature in our generation. Manny is immense and enough good things cannot be said about him. From Bantamweight World Champ all the way through to Welter world champ, and pretty much beating the top1/2 in each division also. If only Mayweather showed such balls to accomodate his skillset. Hopefully him and Arum can put aside their differences and get this deal sorted. Manny and Roach want it. Surely someone as arrogant as Mayweather would want it seeing as Manny has now stole all of his plaudits so there should be no stalling. 50/50 each. 50% of this purse with TV money should easily get them $30m each.

I actually think Floyd would win this but he doesn't deserve the respect he craves for me until he beats Manny and THEN takes on the likes of Mosely/Margarito or Paul Williams (even if he forces Williams at a catchweight)

I feel like **** now, sooooo sleepy and the missus has got relatives coming round so we have to tidy the WHOLE ****ING HOUSE

What a performance by Manny though, I was predicting a Cotto win, but he was just taken apart last night, sad to see Miguel busted up like that, credit to the guy though, he took his lumps

WTF? I'm struggling too understand how that went down the way it did last night. I picked Cotto as I just couldn't see how Manny could stand up to the body attack after being stopped twice by bodyshots at much lower weights (Flyweight?) and visibly feeling 'em v Marquez. In fairness he did a very good job of denying Cotto the opportunity, but how the hell did he withstand the full blooded hooks from a fully feldged Welter Weight?! Not only did he withstand them they just about bounced off.

Kudos to Cotto for showing great heart and he deserved to hear the final bell. Strange timing for the stoppage I thought.

Looking forward to PBF Pac. My word! What can you say about that one. It will be absolutely huge. I'm done with picking fights after last night, but can Floyd deal with the whirlwind that is Pacquiao. Before yesterday I would have said no problem, but now I'm not so sure. One thing I would say is that Cotto was having the better of large spells early on when he stuck to the gameplan, but I just wonder if Floyd has enough pop to keep Manny off him? That said how will Manny cope with the puzzle that is Mayweather's defence. Wow, I could go back and forth like this all day ya see. What a fight this would be!!!

The stoppage did seem a little odd.

The corner ought to have pulled him around the 8th or 9th to be fair though - he was only going to take another hiding, so Bayless probably did the right thing.

I guess the theory that Cotto lacks balls and that Pacquiao is weak to the body can be dispelled :good
