I'm taking Canelo on points. I think Cotto's recent run has been somewhat of a mirage.

NAME ONE..... JUST ONE ELITE healthy fighter CottHOE has beaten.

    Just ONE.

CottHOE earned his props for fighting although LOSING TO the greats.

GGG is the only great left.

He should take his ass kicking like a man and cement his legacy.

Canelhoe is Clevel in comparison to the GGG

I favor Canelo via stoppage but honestly no outcome would surprise me. As close to a 50/50 fight as your gonna get on this level.

    Oh...we agree here Hans...

GGG best Ws are very similar COTTHOEs best Ws.

Point being that CottHOE had his nationality to drum up support.

And he always got the great fights bc he's hugely popular among fans.

    That's what irks me.

He said almost to the word....

GGG ain't beating me down to make him a superstar

Cotto still open for that uppercut, Canelo hasn't improved too much either, but he has. I think both pretty even, BUT Cotto has always had trouble with fighters he can't overpower, like Mosley and Margarito. Geale was bigger, still didn't impose his will. Canelo will eventually, but it won't be easy. Canelo has seemed to have better chin now, but Cotto is still gonna test it, just like his bro did.

I was fully of the opinion that Canelo would eff Cotto up, but seeing the speed advantage Cotto has, and the return of that devastating left hook and body attack, I could really see this going either way. A toss up for me. But so as not to fence it, I'll say Cotto by slim decision.

Not sure. Thinking Cotto by close decision or Canelo by stoppage. I don't feel too confident Cotto can take many Canelo punches but perhaps he can box Canelo smartly and avoid most of his big shots. I guess we will find out if Canelo has learned to do a few things better since the Floyd fight. Canelo definitely needs to use better footwork and cut off the ring well. There is no doubt Cotto is the better technician at the moment. On-the-other-hand, Cotto has never taken punishment as well since the first Margorito fight. I am slightly leaning towards Canelo wearing Miguel down and stopping him from accumulation. Close fight to call. Should be highly entertaining.

I've always thought it would be highly competitive but still favor Alvarez

I think he's a very dirty fighter and a diva, who looks for every advantage fair or unfair he can get, and I'm a big Martinez fan and a Margarito fan to be perfectly honest.

Canelo by KO. Cotto style is made for Canelo.

You don't like Cotto because he dirty....yet you like Magacheto who puts bricks in his gloves.
