Miguel Cotto vs. Antonio Margarito II & full undercard RBR

I wish I could trust Tony's eye to make a 3rd fight.

Fight started out great, but I didn't like how Cotto fought later on.

 

wow Kellerman isn't hiding who he was rooting for at all

 

tbh i believe margarito beside the eye magarito had a clearer face than cotto.

 

garcia s a real schmuck - i get the feeling he d let margorito go blind , which is noble in his machismo- but **** - tonys going to be one eyed for the rest of his life, its easy for rob to keep sending his guy out there with no guilt. he has no interest in protecting his guy- only pride. he was cleearly losing with chances almost gone- his punches had no sting after the 6th.

 

I dont know why Margo said look at his face. Cotto's face wasnt THAT damaged. I mean, nothing compared to their first fight. Cotto was still fresh and everything. I thin the paster rumor is true. His punches wasnt so hard this time around. not at all. by this round last time cottos face looked like someone beat him with a bat.

I am absolutely deslighted Cotto proved me wrong tonight. He boxed wonderfully and looked to have learnt from his first outing.

**** you Margo you piece of ****, I just wish cotto had that one round that he wanted. He did not look satisfied.

 

As far as this fight goes, Cotto appeared stronger than margo in the clinches and pushed Tony around the ring at times. He also took Tony's punches very well.

Tony also seemed to feel Cotto's punches more and was clearly wobbled several times.

Good job by Cotto. He is now "The Man" at 154 and has several very attractive options at that weight.

 

Miguel said he's not leaving TR. Margaritos eye will go the same way in future fights. needs to think about retiring.

 

We need to give fighters credit man, yes they not at their best yes the eye is a factor etc but cotto did what nobody thought he could! Just like JMM

Remember they said cotto couldn't change so late! Well he has shown what he can do!
