So how far back do you think Margarito's plaster use runs now? The Cintron fights? The Paul Williams fight? Hell I think they started possibly right after the Daniel Santos fight.

If we don't get Floyd vs. Pacquiao on May 5, 2012... I would embrace this fight in lieu of it. I see Floyd being able to take Cotto apart, but it would be a very fun show.

We have no reason to assume it has not been going on for years and years. Why would we give Rockgloves the benefit of the doubt? We have no good reason to believe he was ever fighting with dignity.

I mean, the same pattern emerged last night with Rockgloves coming on strong... the difference being that he was unable to wear Cotto down with his punches. Cotto was perhaps better physically prepared to go the distance, sure, but all things equal the shadow extends beyond the Mosley fight with the wraps at this point.

It takes an incredible amount of courage and determination. Cotto dispelled some ghosts that were no doubt in his mind last night.

I am sure that knowing in his heart that last time he was cheated gave him strength in the fight.

"The Tijuana Punching Bag" or "The Human Punching Bag" both work for him.

Anyone basing their entire assessment of whether Rockgloves has been cheating his entire career on last night would be shortsighted. Last night is just one more piece of a larger puzzle which involves his suspension, him being caught cheating in the Mosley fight, common sense, and other factors, which all lead to the very obvious conclusion that there is good reason to believe he has been cheating his entire career or at the very least for a large portion of it.

This clearly isn't the same Margarito of the Pac fight or Mosley one...He's done.

Ya, and if he had four arms he'd be Goro. Rockgloves' lack of defense is what it is. The fact that his eye was a factor after three rounds demonstrates how he uses his face for defense. That's just what it is and there's no way around it. If he slipped punches maybe he'd have done better, but he's a punching bag and we can't change that fundamental fact about him to improve his hypothetical chances to win a fight.

I am assuming the Tijauna Donkey Show used them at least following the Paul Williams fight.

Cotto will never fight Rockgloves a third time. Cotto got his victory and revenge over a known cheater and now he will move on with his life. Last night was very personal for Cotto. It wasn't just about boxing or making money. I know the fight-game has a lot of hype around it, but Cotto is a very real person and he will never go down this road again. A weight is lifted from his shoulders.

Absolutely. Likely in that fight with Williams as well.
