    Hard jabs by Cotto backing up. Cotto is breathing heavily but still moving better than Margarito. They pause to cut some tape off Cotto's glove. Smoger calls time in. More jabs by Cotto. More movement, back and to the left. Now switching to the right. Hard jab, hard right over the top by Cotto. Margarito marches forward. Cotto jabs, steps left, hooks, runs right. Margarito can't get close. Hard counter left hook by Cotto. Margarito places his hands on Cotto's hips and shoves him across the ring to the ropes but can't hit him cleanly. Combo upstairs by Cotto, targeting that eye. Margarito is plodding along after Cotto and throwing uppercuts with poor aim. Cotto leans into Margarito and pushes him toward the ropes. Margarito shoeshines the body and Cotto lands a BIG COMBO. MASSIVE LEFT HOOK BY COTTO!!

    DO YOU SEE MARGARITO'S RIGHT EYE? It's swollen shut and will only make things worse for him. Cotto will land left hooks to the head and body at will the rest of the fight.

    Gotta love this. Cotto's got every round on my card at the moment and Rockgloves hasn't been able to build off of the pressure he was applying in Rounds 3-6. He seems even to be fading while Cotto is maintaining his composure.
