If Cotto treats it like the Torres fight, I'd say DSG has a pretty good chance. Then again, it is Danny Garcia... as one dimensional as they come; he couldn't even work his hook into his head-movement properly. I think Cotto, if he's smart, would box to his left, circling away from Swift's only weapon. Cotto wasn't exactly Luis Rodriguez, but he could box on his toes when he needed, and I think he'd pick DSG off. Cotto is basically just the better fighter, with all the tools to exploit Garcia's many weaknesses. Garcia has a good chin though (or at least, he does when he needs it), I reckon he'd go the distance.
Cotto would win but Id wager a lot money on Garcia landing his left (or his right, he had an ok right hand as well) flush on Cotto's chin in the mid rounds. And Cotto would perform a brilliant rubber legged dance routine before taking a faceful of canvas. Cotto fairly wide decision
Cotto hammers him in my opinion. Cotto was a bit behind the Mayweather’s and Pacquiao’s but was on the next rung below them only and a few rungs above Danny Garcia. Cotto was too multi faceted and had too much in his arsenal for Garcia to beat him. Danny has a good chin and hook and Miguel would respect that but he’d outbox, outpunch and work over Danny for a wide UD or late stoppage.
