Ah, that's probably it. Top Rank nearly always starts their undercards really early, around 6pm EST...usually showing the entire card between P1, P2, and the actual televised featured bouts. So if you're typically checking in at like 8:30pm or later you've definitely already missed P1 by then.

Okay, now I get the theme of this card - Puerto Rican fighters against tomato cans in setup fights. :yep

    Round 1

Melendez jumps on Davis and hooks him in the body. DAVIS IS DOWN only ten seconds in. He beats the count. BIG 1-2 by Melendez. Davis is circling left and right, staying calm, jabbing at Melendez's body and reeling his arms in to hold up responsibly. Long 1-2 by Davis, creeping outside. Davis scrapes the body of Melendez with a reaching hook. Melendez is advancing, stopping a couple of feet away to let Davis lead. Melendez clubs Davis with a hard right hand as Davis is curling up. BIG SNAPPY LEFT JAB!! DAVIS IS KNOCKED ON HIS ASS HARD!! He again beats the count. Melendez jumps on him, force-feeding him stiff jabs. Davis dives in and tries to clinch, then smacks up top with a right hand while keeping his head lowered backing out of the pocket. Flush left hook by Davis, scooting back. HARD jab by Melendez.

    10-7 Melendez

"Even if you get dropped walking into a jab, it's still technically a knockdown..."

    - Larry Merchant

UGH. I want to strangle him.

    Round 2

Melendez is blasting Davis with jabs and uppercuts walking forward. Davis is wobbled but get his arms coiled around Melendez's. Big shots by Melendez, right hands sawing into Davis' skull and left hooks in the gut. Davis looks ready to fall, but instead staggers forward throwing uppercuts, game as they come. More big shots by Melendez. The ref steps in.

    TKO2!

Jamaal is a hard man to stop and in fact doesn't even get dropped all that often.

He went eight rounds with Kid Chocolate, ten with Joel Julio, and nearly twelve with Gabe Rosado (stopped on his feet with two minutes left) - and none of them got him off his feet. The Rosado encounter was actually very even, life and death action until Davis went for a KO himself in the final round and got clipped with an uppercut. So "Da Truth" is no slouch...

Melendez decks him twice in the 1st and then finishes destroying him in under 2. Not bad.

Stoppage was slightly quick, but it clearly didn't change the result

One guy who has fought at light heavy and one who could probably compete at welter. :yep Yeah, quite a contrast.
