Curry was a dominant fighter and the best pound for pound at one point. He hit the wall hard!

You'd have to favor Curry to stop Cotto.

Miguel has an amazing skill set in my estimation, great hand speed, his combination ability is impressive, and he has decent power at 147lb. His biggest weakness is his punch resistance, though. Judah hurt him badly, Margarito was hurting him with punches with no snap, and not to mention the troubles he experienced down at 140lb. I believe Miguel is and will continue to make the most of what he has.

I think Curry is the better boxer of the two, he'll find the angles to land his counter shots, and when he does land, I don't envision Cotto standing up to that sort of firepower.

Curry easily...Miguel has the punch to maybe get an upset 1 time out of 10 but not against prime Curry.

The Curry who got stopped was struggling with weight among other things...The Curry who took apart Starling and McCrory would murder Miguel ..and this is from a pretty big Cotto fan.

Curry would dominate Cotto and knock him out. You put him in a time machine into today's fight game and he'd clean out the division easily.

Curry was battle tested..his tendency not to give ground when he should of was a problem of his and it saw get into some mean exchanges with several fighters. But he was just so technically sound and well rounded he usually was able to be more dominate then a guy like Miguel tends to be.

His fights with Starling were great tests...Marlon is clearly better then anyone Miguel has beaten, even Shane IMO. He got dropped pretty heavy by some asian dude he fought early in his career, whos name escapes me but recovered well to put the beatdown back on the other guy. Guys like Diaz and Jones were among the hardest punchers around at the time..especially Jones. And he dealt with them easily.
