Cotto doesn't even have much of a puncher's chance. He needs to be coming foward in order to do a lot of damage. Of course, standing his ground and coming foward against Tito will just get him knocked out. Tito didn't have a great chin but he was only stopped once, and that was in the 12th round, at MW, against a bigger man who is one of the best fighters of all time.

Indeed. He's a capable boxer but he isn't a good enough boxer to outbox Tito.

Tito probably dispatches of Cotto inside 8.

IMO it would look a lot like Trinidad vs Vargas. Cotto has his moments but Trinidad's pressure would lead him to a late round KO. Cotto would be forced to back up all night.

besides...i don't want to see 2 Puerto Rican boxers going at it like that. maybe if 1 of them was garbage (Cintron) i would love to see him get beat up by either Trinidad or Cotto lol but not Cotto and Trinidad - two respectable fighters (unlike Cintron lol)

I don't know how Tito is overrated. Tito is one of those rare fighters who could win against any type of style. People say he struggled with boxers, but they forget that those boxers were DLH and Hopkins(we'll dissregard the Wright fight because Tito was clearly past it). Everyone has trouble with DLH and Hopkins. Those are two of the most complete fighters in the last 20 or 30 years.

co-sign...i hope Juan Ma Lopez continues what he's started, that boy could end up being a Trinidad look-alike.

Lopez looks pretty good so far. However, he needs to get some rounds. He needs to get in there with someone who can take his shots. Caballero and possibly Vazquez are probably the only guys that can do that at 122. If he can beat Vazquez, he definately should go to 126 right after.

trinidad via ktfo. Tito has the reach-height and power advantage which would be a nightmare for cotto. Cotto proly win couple of rounds early since tito is a slow starter then trinidad will pick up the pace and punish cotto till he gets KO.

Right. He may even drop Tito, whose notorious for being off balance and was prone to getting knocked down early. Problem is he'd only get mad and pick Cotto apart.

Tito would be way to much at 147..Tito was a beast with a hard left hook..eventually that would land and end Cotto's night....
