Golovkin Ko in the second half of the fight, but Cotto would overperform expectations and make a good tear up of it

I admire Cotto but I think Golovkin would have annihilated him in less than 7 rounds.
However, they are not the same weight. Cotto barely weighed 160 pounds when Golovkin turned 170.

Battle of the Divas right here!!!

I suppose I'll have to go with GGG on this one, but I was expecting him to walk through Saul Alvarez and he failed to do so, so it may not be such a foregone conclusion he beats Cotto.

still, I lost all respect for Cotto ever since they showed him in dressing room before the Mayweather fight kissing his teenage son on the mouth.

that was one of the creepiest things I've ever seen

Cotto would have been smashed up. Too small. . It would be like Golovkin vs Beterbiev

The fight would have gone the way the Brook fight went. Both Kell and Cotto are very good boxers, but don't have enough to mitigate Golovkin's strengths the entire fight. G's ability to cut off the ring would keep Cotto in range most of the fight and once Cotto slowed, much like Kell did, he would be forced to trade with G and the fight would be over. This, while G never steps into 2nd gear, just like in the Kell fight.
