Cotto all day every day, far to mobile and skilled for Taylor. I see Cotto moving a lot, landing his excellent jab and walking Taylor into counters, just like Teo and Catterall did. Styles makes fights and Cotto isn't a style that favours Taylor. Taylor isn't even the best 140lber from the UK in recent years, Brook was better in my opinion it's just Taylor has been fortunate to be in such a weak division. Can you imagine Taylor even lasting 3 rounds with GGG?
Cotto moved a lot on guys with big firepower. Josh doesn't have that, nor is he as physically strong as Cotto. Miguel would just attack him and walk through him. It'd be an exact replay of what Cotto did to Quintana.
Brook never fought at 140, however, Brook would have battered Taylor. It would have been ugly. Josh wouldn't be able to stop Brook's right hand at all, and wouldn't be able to keep him off. Brook would give Taylor the same beating he gave Khan.
Cotto would school Taylor with his jab and consistent work upstairs and break the body down any time Taylor tried his flashy stuff. Cotto was less durable at this weight but I don't think it would be an issue.
