to quick on his feet and with his combos to lose to clottey...clottey's good in his shell, but cotto will give him angles and a bunch of combos...sort of like the margo fight, but clottey aint no pressure fighter so i think cotto will be succesful....

 

I'm picking Clottey by decision. I don't think he's a good fight for Cotto.

Cotto UD. He will make Clottey get into his defensive shell and will be outworked and tagged to the body all night.

 

i wish you put a " i cant choose " option.... the fight is to close for me to call... i think cotto could struggle with clotteys size

 

The Cotto hypetrain is back in full gear. I don't Cotto will even chose to fight Clottey. However, if he does chose to fight him, he's going to need his best effort. Clottey matches up very well with Cotto. I believe Clottey has a much better chance than people are giving him on this forum.

 

Cotto by late tko 11th round. Clottey will tire out and Cotto will have target practice. Clottey will kneel before Zod.... I mean Cotto

 

No one has stated so far that Cotto is going to walk through Clottey...everyone has been abundantly clear that his problem is his punch output...

For me it's his punch output AND his stamina to keep a consistant attack.

Yet because everyone thinks Cotto will win by UD, its a hypetrain. :nono

So far, 90% have picked Cotto. There is no way Cotto should be getting that high of a vote.

For you it's the fact that Cotto is your favorite fighter. I haven't seen stamina be a problem for Clottey in his last few fights(meanwhile, Cotto gassed against Margo and Mosley). As far as his punch output, Clottey has been averaging about 50 punches a round his last few fights. That's about the average for a WW.

These two are relavtively even. Such a high percentage of people picking Cotto is a clear sign of Cotto getting overhyped. Cotto is a damn good fighter. However, there is still a very prominant Cotto hypetrain running full steam on this forum. I'm not sure if the hypetrain can recover if it gets derailed again.
