Miguel Cotto vs Joshua Clottey

If this is Cotto's comeback fight he will get owned and his career will basically be over.

zab judah was able to land bombs on his body and he isn't 1/4 of the body puncher miguel is.

 

Clottey in 12. Maybe even a split decision if not a good UD. But I pick Clottey cause he's got good defense and he's a lil bigger than Cotto. And apparently Cotto cant handle bigger opponents.

 

Clottey doesn't just follow opponents around the ring like Margo, against Zab he skillfully cut off the ring, and avoided some huge shots that were thrown with bad intentions, I think Clottey can beat Cotto.

Clottey is foolish enough to let Cotto dictate most of what goes on, but Clottey is a good solid puncher and he counters like a tiger. Clottey could win by stoppage, although Clottey can't always be completely counted upon. I wouldn't put absolute faith in him. Cotto is a far more solid competitor even though he's less physically gifted than Clottey.

and it seems clottey just keeps getting injured

 

man cotto loses one fight against a great fighter and all of a sudden he's barely a contender. Clottey is a good fighter don't get me wrong but cotto is way out of his league. Cotto is too fast and just too much of a complete fighter for clottey. A month ago no one would have picked clottey. And margarito is probably the only guy that could have beaten the cotto that fought on the 26th. No wonder floyd is so scared to lose his "0".

 

I'd give Clottey an edge.
