His not a KO Puncher against high caliber opponents, but has enough of it to get respect of opponents (more importantly, to get the respect of Cotto, who's suffered KO defeats) who have been able to take his punch but not effective enough to win ( Jesus Felipe Valverde, Lovemore N'dou, Alfredo Angulo).

Cintron puts him to sleep. Period.

Too big, too much power, and too much heart. When the going gets rough, Cotto packs it in and jumps on his bike. Cintron on the other hand, :patsch oh wait! Nevermind...

    Cotto by DQ

Maybe but his boxing ability has improved greatly and that part of his game is underrated.

Kermit has had too many sideshow antics to get another chance but I think he and Cotto would be a good fight. I'd go with Cintron here by late TKO. Foreman was able to hit Cotto with the straight right on a few different occasions and he'd be in trouble if it's Cintron landing those shots.

Very overrated. If Cotto can get to Cintrons body early, he'll clam up and look for a way out.

Tough to decide, both hit hard and Cintron recently had Williams seriously buzzed before falling out of the ring. Cintron isn't exactly a scrub for people to pick Cotto by quick brutal KO, this is a 50/50 fight.

I'm a big Cotto fan and think this is a tough matchup for Cotto. I think Cotto has the skill set and power at 154 to outbox and even stop Cintron, but Cintron has the power to really hurt Cotto if he lands. I think if Cotto Jumps on him early, goes to the body, and doesn't let Cintron get any confidence he can stop Cintron, but if Cintron starts landing shots early and even buzz's Cotto and starts to build confidence in his ability to stop Cotto it could be a rough night. I think Cintron has underrated ability and unlike most people here I didn't/don't buy into the "jumper" conspiracy theory.

I favor Cotto easily. The physical demensions will be an issue but Cotto is a better boxer and fighter.

Cintron's such a big *****..has no heart at all..I'd take a fighter with a little less skill and power over him anyday in a fight.

I think it would turn into a war. Cotto would box to start with and stick his jab in Kermit's face, but Cintron would rock Miguel with a right hand or two.
Cotto would start to take the roll of aggressor from the 5th round onwards, slowly turning up the heat but taking some punishment in return.
Mixing in uppercuts with bodywork and that stinging jab with the right cross, Cotto burns Cintron down in the 11th.

cintron is completely done as a boxer.. what he had going for him was power, length, strength and athletic ability but he always been weak in the heart, balls and mind department.. and right now i see him as a boxer that has no confidence at all.. and a ***** as fighter cant win, he wont beat anybody else worth mentioning the rest of his career

    :hat
