timeline would fit very well. Miguel said he wants to take a little break after his victory last night. The winner of Berto/Ortiz has to have a few months in between that fight and their next. Cotto gets a chance to beat an elite welter and can maybe fight Mayweather later in 2012.

These lot at 147 can all play kiss chase with each other until Suavecito steps up, and clears them all out.

    There is no blueprint. None.

    Wrong weight classes?

Then Cotto/Floyd would also be the wrong weight classes?

Cotto should leave toprank now that his contract is finished and fight floyd for the 154 title

I don't think he'll want to go to 147 at this stage of his career.By the time Khan's ready for 154 I think it'll be too late in the day for Cotto.
Ortiz/Berto might take a chance and go up sooner. But Ortiz is GBP is he not?
You know Bob likes to keep it "in house"

I really like Cotto Khan , bit Freddie aint stupid , Cotto is a thunderous puncher @47 and is very very well schooled , i dont see this fight happening

Cotto Berto is one of the better fights that just never happened , and then you have Ortiz , Alexander , Maidana & Bradley , they would all take a Cotto fight @47

Looking beyond the 147 lb division , Chavez @54 makes the most sense , team Chavez have said that isnt possible so team Cotto should dismiss that option , Mayweather and Pacquiao if he can drag them to 54 is a good fight on paper , Angulo & Canelo are also good fights for Cotto too

I would love to see Cotto vs Mayweather ( For the record I think Mayweather wins )

But it will never happen If he stays with Bob !

So, Cotto's going to ask Floyd to come up to 154 because that's where he wants to fight and Floyd is going to say yes?

I didn't know we had visitors from Fantasyland :tong

What weight did Mayweather fight De La Hoya at ? Not being funny honestly cant remember !

I think Cotto could still make 147 anyway , It wasnt that long ago that Pacquiao made him come in under the Welterweight limit

    154

Floyd actually won his 154 title from an ATG.

I don't see why Floyd would need Cotto(e)'s 154 title, which Miguel won from YURI FOREMAN!

dont think khan is ready for cotto just yet. ortiz might be a good fight at 147.

but im guessing im the only one thinking that a cotto pac rematch might be a little more interesting?
