Well Cotto's punch resistance definately has been tested and you can't really say he passed with flying colours.

Though i do expect that he can handle PAc's best punches better than vice-versa, i don't think he will land as clean

Pac would have to land many punches to put down Cotto where as I fear that Cotto could possibly put down Pac with one punch. Funny to say after the astonishing power display Pac showed against Hatton but Cotto was able to take Mosley's best shots and that warrents consideration.

This is assuming they fought at 147.

Cotto will fall to Clottey before he gets the chance.

What you mean? Cotto wasn't even KOd, he was just too tired after getting hit many times from a guy MUCH bigger than Pac.

Mosley hit Cotto with good right hands and Cotto was never wobbled.

I know that many here dont want to believe it for whatever reason but this fight is much much more likely to happen then one with Floyd and Pac. I would say its the most likely fight of the three. Only thing in the way of that fight is weight...I think that Cotto said he would come down abit but not to 140.

at 147, cotto by ko in the middle rounds, he'd be too big for pac and his shots would be too much. That being said, cotto wouldn't get ko'd by manny since cotto has taken huge shots from mosley and concrete by margarito while pacquiao's chin hasn't tasted a full ww's power and when hit to the body, doesn't like it(david diaz bothered pac with a body shot during their fight).

At 144 or below though pac would likely win since cotto would likely have to drain, but cotto said that he would only go down to 145 at the most.

that's what i thought too before the hatton-pacman fight. i thought pacman would have to land 100 straight left to finish hatton but it turns out he needed only one. I dont know if he can KO cotto with one punch but he can defenitely hurt cotto and with his blinding speed finished him:D if he gets the chance.

But for ****'s 'n giggles I'll guess like everyone else.

    Miguel Cotto wins by UD.

    i disagree

    140-cotto
    147-cotto

hes just too big for pac-man and a technically sound fighter and an awsome champ, remember margo is way bigger than pacquiao and pacman wouldnt be able to wobble cotto like margo did, i just see cotto out boxing and out fighting pacquiao, way too strong

but then again i thought hatton would be too strong for pacquiao :rofl

Can't say I shared the same sentiment after witnessing Lazcano stagger Hatton with a left hook. I was very confident Pac would hurt Hatton early with the left as a result. Cotto on the other hand is naturally bigger and his punch resistence has been tested by a one Shane Mosley who failed to do significant damage when he landed some massive shots. Pacquiao stated in the post fight in ring interview that the fight was hard because Hatton hit's hard with the left. That bodes well for Cotto who's shotgun jab and power left hook would undoubted be some of the hardest punches Pac will have ever have felt.

didnt u see the fight of cotto vs malignaggi at 140? cotto had no power and was weight drained, looked weak.

    140 pac will have cotto.
    147 cotto has pac

I would pick Pac. Cotto won't look to good fighting at a catch weight.

I'm not saying Cotto can't win but I would go with Pac.
