Cotto generally does well against boxers, as evidenced against Judah, Quintana etc. That said, I think that Starling is a bit too tough and clever for him, although Cotto has the potential to do well here.
I was a big Starling fan, but I can't pick him to win because I know Cotto's style would give him trouble because Cotto has a style that makes him a pace setter. I see Cotto starting early and winning most of the early rounds with Starling coming on late and Cotto struggling to make it to the finish. If this were a 15 round fight, I would pick Starling by tko.
good matching and question , the answer : i don't know. that's why i refrained from posting in this thread untill now. and have yet to vote. starling was outpointable in his prime , people here forget it. cotto is still undefeated , at least not legally defeated. cotto outpointed mosley who went to stop cheato , what does this mean ?
The Starling from the 1st Breland, and Honeyghan fight would beat the living **** outta Cotto. Starling TKO 10.
