Williams collapses from dangerous weight cutting before he even steps in the ring.

Thats better...If Williams can take Cotto's body shots then I reckon he can get home by a couple of points.

I always picked Paul to beat Cotto even after he got beat by Quintanna. Stlyes make fights and Williams will have to much physical advantages for Cotto.

Williams would put an awful beating on poor Miguel. Cotto just doesn't handle intense pressure well against larger opponents. If he thought fighting 5'11" Margo was hell facing the 6'3" Williams with his 82" reach, southpaw stance and 100 punches per round will be absolute hell. A definite career ender for Cotto.

miguel has a very solid jab and can rip to the body when he wants...two shots that have found their mark on paul. but good lord, with that wing span and reach paul should be able to pepper him all night and not get a glove laid on him. i stress should and this is assuming he can fight at 147 and still be peak and not drained.

Williams kills Cotto as long as he makes 147.

I'm very suspicious of Paul's ability to make 147 anymore. But they could both take some terrible punishment. More likely Cotto because nobody will tell him what to do and he'll let the bigger guy mow him down. If he tried to force Williams back, Williams is very hittable and Cotto is very powerful. You never know. But I doubt he would try and he's done so little good body work compared to his old days. He wouldn't deal with it properly. He'd try to box off the back foot and it'd be a horrible idea.

I think they would both be better off doing it at 154lbs

yeah just like there is no way quintana could win against williams right?

i pick williams based on styles and physical advantages, but i would not be surprised if cotto pulls this one.

Boxing is a mental game first and foremost and I believe Cotto's confidence was permanently lost when he realized nothing he threw could even dent Margarito then to make things worse little Pacquiao beat the tar out of him for an encore. Cotto at this point in his career would be a lamb to the slaughter against Williams.
