you people make me goddamn sick... i don't care if you like williams are not... there isnt anything does that will help him against paul williams... even in his prime

paul would make him look pathetic.... paul would beat his ass worse than margarito and probably make him surrender in worse fashion than pacqiaou

and he woudl do it legally also

- cotto doesnt have 1 punch power
+ paul has a chin esp @ 147

- cotto gasses late
+ paul never gasses

- cotto has 0 defense
+ paul has redic output

- cotto cannot box on the move & off his back foot
+ that is paul's only weakness

cmon now.... as far as cotto goes... the outcome of the fight would be if you mixed pacquiao & margarito

I feel so bad for Cotto; poor guy gets matched tough every time out. Even discussing him vs. Paul Williams is CRAZY at this stage in their careers.

margarito probably cheated
pacquaio may have cheated

the most interesting match up is floyd vs cotto prior to margarito...i still think floyd takes that....woudl be a lot of uppercuts on the inside in the late rounds

 

cotto outboxed mosley and margo during the first 6 rounds of their fight. he even schooled quintana badly whereas williams was badly outboxed by quintana. yeah syles makes fights but williams is not exactly a consistent fighter. you are seriously uderrating cotto's will to win or his chances here. you are speaking like it's too impossible for cotto to pull this one. bottomline is if fghters like quintana, martinez and margo had made williams look bad, a fighter of cotto's caliber could beat williams on one of williams inconsistent nights when he wear his mohawk.

 

Come on man lets face it, your boy is overrated, if a Cotto left over took care of yo boy, why wouldn't Cotto himself had no change against him? when he's the better boxer and bigger puncher than Carlos.:yep

cotto could out box mosley because of his lack of activity... against margarito it didnt work because cotto gasses late & margarito has pretty good endurance...

it would be a repeat of cotto vs margarito cept it would have ended quicker because cotto would have got mentally broke down due to pauls speed


will to win doesnt have **** to do with anything... the matchups is what matters....

paul struggles against fighters who can fight off the back foot because paul himself has poor balance.... at the same time both the fighters that he looked bad against he fought under short notice ( quintana was switched in for cintron last minute & martinez was switched out for pavlik last minute) we all saw how the cintron rematch went.. the martinez rematch would be interesting... but thats neither here nor there....

the match up is terrible for cotto... he would get obliterated horribly

 

first, i was wrong and it was martinez and not mora, mybad. second, i picked williams now if williams could still make 147. but what i'm pointing out is, cotto is a good enough fighter to bring it on to williams on one of his inconsistent nights. and you are wrong about cotto not able to fight off the backfoot because that is how he had beaten mosley, though a close one. again, i pick williams especially now, bt would not discount cotto if he pulled this one. you on the other hand talks like this is impossible even if we took into consideration: 1) cotto's caliber as a fighter and 2) william's inconsistency.

 

Come on man. Quintana beating him has nothing to do with this matchup. Styles make fights and that **** don't work.
