LOL, I didn't have to speak in terms like that until I arrived here. Most other places are REALISTIC about Cotto as a talent and the don't devalue his true worth by exaggerating. Cotto is very good fighter, I picked him to beat Judah and Mosley based on intangbiles and styles. Shove that hater **** back up your ass, fanboy. Nice avatar.

Hatton was a real force back then. Cotto was still a little green and too easily stung at 140. Hatton stops him.

Hatton was a beast in 2005. I think he'd have too much experience for a 2005 Cotto. Like to see them fight at a catch weight 143.5 right now.

At 140 I think a then prime Hatton would beat a still raw Cotto up until 2006.

In 2005, Cotto was too young and had few experience.

    I think Hatton wins.

cotto at that point was good but not as good as the current version but i still think he'll have a chance against hatton if he avoids getting hurt

I'm no expert but do you honestly think that Cotto punches harder than Kostya Tszu?

Hatton took many bombs from him and by the end of the fight was walking though his shots. Hatton's punch resistance is a concern these days but in his prime, his chin was considered to be very solid.

hatton by late stoppage in a war, hatton was a monster in 2005 at 140&would've stopped cotto due to accumulative punshiment,on the flipside the same woulda happened only with the roles reversed at 147.
