i remember a newspaper artcle hatton saying if he wins the mayweather fight he will fight cotto and even if he loses he will still consider fighting cotto.

    who wins now?

i say cotto decapitates him, hatton likes to use his strength alot, he tried against mayweather but surprisingly mayweather was stronger and hatton wasn't able to bully him, now cotto is bigger and stronger than hatton and will be willing to trade shots!

Hatton can't handle Collazo's KO power, but I think he can handle Cotto's.

As much as the fight appeals to me I'd rather not watch. I'm a huge fan of both but I think Hatton would be off his head to take this fight at 147. Hatton would get hurt, more than he's done before and I wouldn't like to see that. It'd be good while it lasted and because of Hatton's heart and courage it would go into the painful late rounds where Hatton would be suffering and would be broken by Cotto. He's simply too strong and too powerful and would not be ring bullied by thr Hitman.

Hatton needs to make some smart decisions over the coming months like start listening to Billy Graham. Son, you ain't a Welter - no matter how much money you can make - stay at 140!

Well if you remember Cotto isnt big guy himself, when he foguth Judah he looked just slightly bigger. Im not sure how Cotto would handle Hattons clinching tactics, but I think Cotto's smart enough to adjust to Hattons style.

I think he should stay away from 147 no matter who it is (within reason lol). Another loss could be devastating. Go back down and clear up, get witter out of the way for startes (if he can lol) and then have a look where to go from there. I think all the good 147's would have him not guaranteed but look hes lost once at that weight and looked really bad at that weight.

yah never did he think that he would be flat on his back...i mean hatton may have thought that he could get outboxed but not KO'd!!! It is best to take a tuneup before fighting another elite fighter again

Hatton has wanted to fight Cotto since he before his fight against Tszyu. I think it might come off.

Hatton is tailor made for Cotto even moreso than he was tailor made for Floyd!!! Gone and out with a busted the **** up face within 5-6 rounds and I love Ricky Hatton. But dude BE REALISTIC DO YOU EVEN KNOW BOXING??
