before hatton was ko'd by pbf i would of said hatton but iv got a strange feeling after getting knocked out that bad he could be liable for it to happen again and at 147 its not his weight

Okay well we've done this to death I just feel Hatton's career path has been carefully picked & I just don't see him as an elite fighter, however, I would like to see him prove me wrong. First he needs to pick a division.

How about 100, 000 clinches with no warning, hitting and holding, rabbit punching etc

Wah wah wah, it's a fight. Stop over exaggerating.

Hatton was great that night, he broke Tszyu's spirit. Hatton's allowed to maul on the inside as long as he's looking to throw punches, not just holding for the sake of it....Tszyu's face after the fight and his **** made of blood should be testament to Hatton actually throwing punches.

Yup he was but lets not pretend that was a prime Tszyu. Tszyu that faced Judah would have beaten Hatton.

    No, it's a boxing match.

Since he has been in America, without his hometown referee, he has been battered by Collazo, dismal against the avergae Urango, and KTFO by Mayweather.

Mickey Vann refereed far too many of Hatton's fights. I think that he used to help him wthout even meaning to.

    Doubt it.

Styles make fights, Hatton had the style to dipose of Tszyu. Phillips did it with the same style and he ain't on Hatton's level.

It's hard to judge Tszyu on a 2 round disposal of Judah, he caught Judah with the same rights that Hatton walked through...

So he stepped up at short notice and won a welterweight title.
Knocked out Castillo with a body shot and dominated him on the inside.
Nearly shutout Urango, but still beat him with ease.
And lost to the best fighter of his generation.

Yea, he really missed his hometown ref...:rofl

Obviously the fighters were better as well, but the lenient refereeing he enjoyed in Manchester surely helped him a lot, specifically in the Tszyu fight.

Err...you seem confused; it was Collazo who 'stepped up at short notice' and proceeded to turn hattons face into a hamburger. Hatton had a full training camp.

Cotto will win at 140/147, no doubt about it
