I do give those fighters respect for those fights...

You can talk about resumes till the cows come home, but what matters is what a fighter has achieved.

I say a 2 weight world champ involved in one of the biggest fights of 2007 that went over to the states to build his profile deserves respect.

He does deserve respect and he gets it to a certain extent. His main issue right now is not fighting his countryman. Why? maybe you can explain that.. His excuse is that he doesn't want to give him the payday... PBF gave hatton his big payday.. why not return the favor?

Uhh... isn't a fighter's resume what he has achieved? So that comment really doesn't make sense. Unless of course the fighter lies on his resume and gets fired from boxing...:nut

    I voted Cotto.

    Why is this at 147lbs?

For a decent fight involving Hatton, it's got to be at 140lbs which is why Floyd didn't go down that low.

If this fight is at 140lbs, Cotto has all sorts of problems.

I agree. Fave boxers who are fighting currently would be Hopkins & Pacman.

I know resumes are important, the point i was making is that it is so subjective the only way to really measure greatness sometimes is through WC belts..

Like Mayweather, he's hardly beaten great or prime fighters since like 135 other than Ricky and Oscar but he will go down as a 5 weight world champ which is what will be important in the long run

:good At 140 I would favor hatton at but at 147 cotto would KO him, because hatton hasn't got the frame at 147.

Hatton is shot because of his dietry habits. I think they caught up with him in the last 3 yrs

Will never be able to perform well at either weight now.
