I think Canelo has too much pride to vacate, but who knows...... WBC is salivating at the thought of that megafight right now. Cowboy's Stadium...phew.

Are you talking about the 160 lb division or the 154 lb division ?

Good, close fight. Canelo clearly won didn't need no help from no judges. If Cotto wants he can get a crack at Andy Lee or even rematch Canelo. Nothing to be ashamed of he lost to a great young champ. Vargas-Miura, now THAT was a great fight! Holy double D's can't wait to see the replay on that one!

Mauricio Sulaiman or wtver the f**k his name is seemed pretty pleased even before the scorecards were announced. Kinda suspicious imo.

Figures. Canelo's team doesn't want people to know he's 173+ in the ring because then people might start thinking he's a real middleweight.

Canelo is a real man, hopefully he'll stick to his word and officially move up to 160, I won't begrudge him a tune up match.

I don't know. I think for the right split, they could get GGG to agree to a catchweight of some sort. GGG's team has been publicly adamant about no catchweights, but it could be a negotiation tactic to get more money. GGG can make 158 (maybe 157) relatively easily. I wouldn't go any lower, though.

If you want to see the holy double DD's, it's the replay of the MAIN EVENT you need to watch.

Apparently you're a moron with a thimble-full of boxing knowledge. Canelo holds two Middleweight titles. To not fight the WBC mandatory challenger to his MW belt at, or at least near, 160 would result in giving up the WBC belt and make Canelo look like a ***** to all of the fans who know he outweighs GGG in the ring (and has a reach advantage on GGG). I don't think dropping the WBC belt would sit well with a lot of his Mexican fans to see him tuck tail and run from a smaller guy with a shorter reach, so try again. I'd love to make a fool out of you some more. Golden Boy knows GGG holds a lot of cards here. Either Canelo will drop the belt and look bad, or we'll see this fight at 157 or 158.
