No we wouldn't. That would be on the PPV card.

Nobody else? Five straight posts by yours truly. (three of them round posts, meaning they cover a twelve minute span!)

I'm broiling some Hamburgers right now, I'll be back for the next match.

There may be flaws in Vargas' best performances, but I see more glaring flaws in Miura, and he's been in a few brutal tear-ups that seem to of given him a propensity for facial damage, specifically that eye. He also just gets hit far too often, and far too cleanly for my liking.

I also wasn't particularly impressed by the general slopiness of his fight with Thompson, who he was substantially larger than.

    Round 6

Martinez is getting crowded into the ropes, Mojica putting his head down. Martinez is pinching his mandible in between his palms, elbows tight against his ribs, and letting Mojica bash away on his upper skull and his midriff. Martinez is waiting until Mojica is done punching and then swatting him behind the head with left hooks. Combos by Martinez now coming in to meet Mojica, jabs and uppercuts, breaking his guard apart and pushing his arms in opposite directions so he can't form up his defenses again. Mojica is jumping in and out, balance a bit ungainly, missing punches and getting jabbed.

    10-9 Martinez

    58-56 Martinez

True but Yeyo is arguably better than anyone Vargas has beaten.

I hear what you're saying about the wear & tear, definitely. Vargas is no doubt fresher, even if only a year more chronologically youthful.

    Round 7

Martinez is drawing Mojica along, setting ambushes, popping him with single right hands and then withdrawing. On the inside, when Mojica gets there, exchanges are brief, with Martinez getting in a higher quantity of head shots to Mojica's body digs before Martinez ties up. Ugly but effective overall from Martinez.

    10-9 Martinez

    68-65 Martinez

This one in progress, and one more non-PPV bout on the YouTube portion of the undercard. (Alberto Machado vs. Tyrone Luckey, 6 rounds @ featherweight)

Then it goes Rios vs. Velez, Rigondeaux vs. Francisco, Miura vs. Vargas and the main event on the PPV.
